Moisturising Shower Gels

I started using Dermol after developing discoid eczema. Thankfully I am free of it now but continued with the Dermol which I don't wash off, just pat myself dry. Also use Aveena, which is lovely. My skin is pretty good ATM and there's nothing nasty in either product.

I use L’occitane almond shower oil. No need for a body lotion afterwards and it smells lovely.

I also use a natural soap bar, avoiding plastic containers. One I particularly like is the Tropic soap pebble, but I use other inexpensive ones too, as long as they have natural ingredients.

Another vote for plain soap. We use an olive oil soap; inexpensive & purchased online. Rinse off; leaves my skin feeling happy, soft. & moistured. No plastic bottles or chemicals.

We switched to soap years ago because so many products come in plastic containers. I can honestly say that, although we both have rather sensitive skin, Sainsbury's unperfumed Pure Soap suits us very well. It is also so much cheaper than branded products, and even in our hard-water area lathers well and rinses away with no problems.

Just discovered Aveeno daily moisturising body wash. Makes your skin feel smooth but doesn’t leave greasy shower tray.
I’ve been using the body lotion for a while now and that’s non greasy too.

List of reason why I don't use Dove or any other shower gel. I use natural bar soap - reduces my use of plastics and there's no dubious ingredients ultimately entering the oceans.

I always wash it all off, then when I get out of the shower and dry myself, I apply body butter (it's thicker and greasier than lotion). I've got some lovely ones from The Body Shop
