For anyone who has ever wondered about Victoria Beckham’s trailing trews.
Her footwear is actually attached to her leg wear (do toddlers wear a similar get up in the rain?)
It actually looks to me as if the hems are staple gunned onto her shoes.

We can’t see it, but there’s a zip in the seam and inside is where she keeps her sandwiches and snacks. grin

No, that’s not it.
She has a cunning little heater blowing warm air down each leg.
If we all had a pair we would save a fortune on our electricity bills.

But Kalu you were fashionable in the ‘70’s! VB’s look is just bizarre.

Glorianny Sun 18-Sept-22 19:51:42

I've always wanted longer legs, so maybe this is the way to go.... Except -I can fall in a heap with flat shoes so maybe not!!!

PollyDolly Sun 18-Sept-22 19:43:42

Maybe she got dressed in the dark?
Maybe someone told her she looked fabulous?
Looks ridiculous though.....no maybe about that!

holy craap

Did you see photos of men's blow up trousers on the catwalk?
Whatever next?

They do remind me of one of Billy Connelly's skits.

FannyCornforth Sun 18-Sept-22 19:17:26

This is also what sprung to mind…

FannyCornforth Sun 18-Sept-22 18:58:21

Glorianny omg, I hadn’t noticed the length of her leg below the knee!
It’s utterly, totally ridiculous.

Glorianny Sun 18-Sept-22 18:55:13

Looking more carefully I think her knee comes about a third of the way down. Which means the bottom third. is entirely shoe (or stilts as someone said). Do you think she can sit down in them????

Marmalade sandwiches, I hope. ?

M0nica Sun 18-Sept-22 18:49:18

From the knees down she looks like the stilt walker at the local county show.

I expect the purpose is to stop the trouser legs flapping around so that the two legs get all tangled up and trip her over.

At least that is what happened to me when I once wore wide legged trousers!

Instead of being stapled ?, maybe the trousers are weighted around the bottom? Equally odd I admit, but maybe a bit more practical? I love the colour of them.

No, no, if you look at the pics you can see that shoe and trouser are very much as one

Yammy Sun 18-Sept-22 18:28:38

They really David's and she had run out of wonder web.wink

I’ve only seen them in the Sunday paper supplements BlueBelle. I don’t read fashion magazines. If they’ve caught on here in the sticks (inadvisable with the mud) I haven’t seen them. We tend to dress practically here. Jeans and wellies.

Why have you seen the. Before never seen anything like them in my part of the world !!!

VioletSky Sun 18-Sept-22 18:14:17

If this is a way to wear your slippers outside, I'm in

Germanshepherdsmum Sun 18-Sept-22 18:05:47

I’ve often wondered how people wear these trousers in real life!

kissngate Sun 18-Sept-22 18:01:47

Presume it's to make her look taller than she actually is. Many years ago before she became super Posh she took Brooklyn to Florida. My friend was next to her at baggage collection and couldn't get over how tiny she was - wore flat trainers in those days. Friend 5'4 said she was at least two inches shorter than her and extremely slim. No wonder she has bunions her high heels must be crippling her feet.

BlueBelle Sun 18-Sept-22 17:46:27

How strange, and the hair on the woman with her !!!

Glorianny Sun 18-Sept-22 17:43:38

Now I'm left with so many questions!!! How does she put them on? Is the shoe inside built in? If so how do you wash them?? Do you have to take them off completely when you go through airport security???
These things will bother me!! confused

toscalily Sun 18-Sept-22 17:37:31

Looks remarkably similar to someone striding around on stilts at the circus.

No wonder the hubster chose to queue in London for heaven knows how long.
It’s a welcome relief from the ad hoc haberdashery he gets at home

I like a lot of her stuff but sometimes it’s oh no, what were you thinking ?

I thought I looked pretty cool. Maybe not!
