Hello smile
I’ve just discovered this.
It’s amazing stuff, a real find.
It really does give thin, flat hair a boost.
I bought it because the reviews were so good.
I’ve bought loads of dry shampoos before, some of them quite expensive, but this is in a different league.
And it’s £1.75!

Anyone else got any favourite buys?
And can anyone recommend a decent eye cream please?

Thank you!

Many years ago a lady used to live near me and I said she had lovely skin and nails she said I don’t use anything but emu oil couple of drops between your fingers goes on your face nails and great for fly away hair just don’t put too much on or you will look like you dipped your hair in the chippy fryer lol. I’ve used it for years don’t use anything else your skin soaks it up. You can buy it online and in health stores now

My niece recommended white hot hair products online a little more expensive than other silver hair products but brightened my hair and leaves in nice condition

My hair, annoyingly, hasn't gone white like my sister's. It's now an unlovely iron grey.
Has anyone got any suggestions for brightening things up?

Erborian red correct cc cream.
A Korean brand, it evens out skin tone beautifully for me a perfect find and I hardly ever wear anything after creams and serum.

I've orderd the cheek putty rather than the stick blusher as it looked as though the stick one had a pearly sheen. I've also ordered their eyebrow pencil - thanks again Cheeseplantmad!

I also use their eyebrow pencil , I’ve just bought another one , what I like about it is that it goes on well and stays put all day long , and for less than £5 it’s a bargain !
I’ll look up their cheek putty on Amazon . Just to add that the blush stick does not have a pearly sheen I find it’s quite matte .

I bought the Simply Protect n Glow radiance booster after the recommendation on here by AskAlice and love it! Only £7.99 as well!

Cheeseplantmad that blusher looks good. I use a similar one by Clinique, but it costs nearly four times the price even adding in the delivery costs. I think I'll give it a try - thank you!

I love E.L.F blush stick from Amazon ( £5) , it can be used as “all in one “ for eyeshadow, blush & lipstick . It’s handy to keep in handbag and little goes a long way

Can anyone recommend an eye cream for eye-bags? My eyes aren't too wrinkly at the moment (I'm 65) but I am developing bags, and they look awful!

AskAlice Tue 21-Mar-23 17:59:20

Just saw your post Elless. So pleased you're happy with it. It lasts ages too as you only need three drops. So much nicer than slathering what feels like lardy gloop on your face to protect it from the sun!

Spread the word (and no, I'm not on commission!!)

Loreal Professional Mythic Oil makes my hair glow. I've used this for years and my hair is in beautiful condition, just like silk. Everyone I've recommended it to thinks it's fabulous too.

On your recommendation, I have just ordered this from Amazon…🤓

O'Keefe's Working Hands is the best hand cream I've ever used, especially for dry, sore hands. Their foot cream is fantastic too.

AskAlice thanks for the link, I bet Boots saw a jump in sales of this product yesterday, I popped in and got some and it is great, it's just what I've been looking for. All Simple products are currently half price but I bought it with my points which was even better 🙂
