I've got a facial and waxing (agree about the upper lip!!!) booked for Friday - but I go regularly.

Went to my first Handfasting on Saturday - a traditional form of betrothal without any legal ties. Lovely ceremony in the sunshine in the Henge at Avebury, they jumped the broomstick which was decorated with flowers.

I use St Moritz , not too expensive, But this weekend, I tried Dove Derma spa- very happy , no streaks , quite natural.

Oh , I like a bit of fake tan , even when going abroad , you can use high factor sunscreen as a moisturiser on

We have a Wedding in 2 weeks, DP’s youngest. Should be a very smart ‘do’…I have just ‘done’ my top lip and chin, having my roots done tomorrow and have a Spa day on Tues for a pedicure and massage - it’s not all good though - I’ve had to buy ano dress as I’d lost weight before Christmas but have put on a-few lbs. Oh well you only live once - had a funeral last week, makes you think and change your outlook …

Dte Avon do Skin so soft in different fragrances - wonderfully good for skin and they are pump dispensers - you can look online if you don’t have an Avon rep locally - and hope your recovery is going well.

HeavenLeigh. I've never had to shave any part of my body, except in my youth a tiny bit underarm. I didn't even realise most women have to shave till I was about 40. I'm fair haired. I have one fair sister and one brown haired one. My mum was brown haired. None of us has ever had to shave. How lucky are we. I'm Scottish and we are apparently of Scandinavian descent which may account for it. So I've spent the time instead stripping a teak garden bench ready to restore to its natural beauty.

So many great comments here - we are all happy for summer and sunshine! Gave up coloring my hair years ago and am almost a platinum now. Love it!

My cancer took my eyebrows six yrs ago and I lightly pencil them in when I feel like it. I highlight my eyes. I do my own mani-pedis. I’m fair haired and hardly ever have to shave my legs, but I do every other week.

Minimum makeup in summer, but SUNBLOCK!

Moisturizing my skin is a priority! It’s about HYDRATION - inside and out. I drink plenty of water for internal (helps skin too!) and when I apply my lotion to legs, arms etc I add a splash of water to my hands with lotion and smooth away.

Self-tanner? I have to… just have to do it!
I squeeze half tanner with my (Jergens) lotion and rub away - keep rubbing smoothing every inch so you don’t end up with blotches. Let dry before you dress.
You’ll be a beach baby in no time! 😉😄

Started using a tanning moisturiser as the arms and legs look awful - think 'lard' - and it has worked slightly too well. Have orange elbows, and I did give them a pumice stone scrub first. 'Unearthed and ironed all summer clothing. This will be, as every year, the signal for an outburst of awful weather, so I apologise in advance to all of you well groomed and summer ready ladies.

Each to their own. For myself I get my hair cut , so that it doesnt flick in my eyes etc, but apart from that I shower, keep myself clean but am not shaving legs or anything else. Have sensitive skin (had copper coloured hair, now white) so put suncream. Any time and money available is used to enjoy things, If you feel relaxed and comfortable you will enjoy things. It will be a shame if you are wearing something that looks lovely , but causes you pain or discomfort, for your wedding visit. Do hope all goes well for you

I used the gradual tan moisturisers on my milk bottle legs for years. About 5 years ago I started getting a reaction to them on my shins - an itchy spotty rash. I've tried lots of different ones but to no avail. I have tried waiting a few days after shaving but makes no difference. The only thing I can use is wash off tan. The Rimmel one is very good but it's a faff doing it every day! Any hints or advice gratefully received. I'd wear maxi dresses if I wasn't so short!

Hannahmac14 I tried one of these foot peel bags - just a cheapo one from a discount store - and tried it a couple of weeks ago. Nothing happened for a few days afterwards and I was just beginning to think I had wasted my money ......then a day or two later I felt as if I had transformed into a snake shedding foot skin everywhere! It was quite dramatic and meant that I had to ensure I didn't wear sandals outside the privacy of my own home. I now have beautifully smooth feet! I think the moral here is to use them well before you need to have your feet on display, or you may have a fright. Anyone else have this experience??

I had a brain tumour last year so consider myself very lucky to still be here. When I was fully better I thought I’d treat myself to hair extensions and IPL on my legs. (More hair in one place - getting rid in another! 🤣). I absolutely love the extensions, for the first time in my life I’ve got “swishy” hair and the IPL seems to have done the trick - no regrowth at all. Very happy 😊

You can get moisturised socks that you put on and leave for about 10 minutes and then rinse off. They leave your feet beautifully soft.

Just been told by DD2 to get started, after getting caught out yesterday in the heat. Nothing de fuzzed and no summer tops, skirts or chinos ironed!!! Now I'll have to do it in the heat if this weather keeps up. I do live in the cold North West though and yesterday might have been our summer.

Sole Bliss shoes and sandals are great for bunions…. Comfortable and fashionable…apparantly Queen Camilla and Helen Mirren wear them!

Remember the days when we just got up in the morning, glanced in the mirror and still looked great? Now it all takes so long and the end result is never that good. But I keep trying.

I’m lucky I’ve never had to shave arms or legs, underactive thyroid don’t know whether that makes a difference, although to be fair I never did when young, I always have my hair cut regularly throughout the year anyway so no change there, and pedicure done three times year, don’t have nails done do them myself.don’t wear false eyelashes or have Botox or fillers as an ex beauty consultant the only thing I do different in spring and summer is I use a good fake tan, and drink a lot more water.

I also have never had to shave as I never started shaving as a teenager.. just use Faith in Nature body moisturiser and have hair cut every 6 weeks.. looking forward to getting a healthy glow now the sun is here..

Always have regular manicure and pedicure but definitely nowhere near hot to trot. Need to start the yearly search for sandals that fit around and hide my dreadful bunions, Also that time of year when I notice how saggy and wrinkly my arms are not to mention the white legs and last summer's clothes that no longer fit BUT at least the sun is shining!!!

How about those little bags with moisturiser in that you put your feet in? Available at chemists/Superdrug. Lovely.
