Dress up Tuesday

It is dress up Saturday for me - party time!!

So decisions. It can’t be the planned dress as I have acquired huge horsefly bites on my leg. So I think it will have to be a floaty flowered pinky silk top with pink trousers - bites suitably covered🎉🍾🍸🍹🎂🥗 oh and jewellery - I shall wear my pink and white diamond inherited earrings. Only taken out for “best”.

Gym leggings, Hush T shirt (been to the gym and now just finished the ironing)

We are going out to dinner this evening (local steak house, no steak for me though). I will wear best designer jeans, The White Company white linen shirt and grey cashmere poncho, with white Vega trainers. As always Rolex, diamond studs and vintage bracelet, I might even go all out and wear wedding ring and engagement ring 😱

I am in the process of sorting out my wardrobes (yet again) and I am being ruthless, disposing of anything that is slightly worn or just fed up with in order to clear the way to wearing my decent clothes everyday as opposed to the occasional slob days no more saving for best.

Walking trousers, boots and fleece (and usually a waterproof).

Black tights it’s been cold apart from today knee length black skirt Regatta fleece top staying at our dd so very basic.

Today I went to the Grayson Perry exhibition in Edinburgh in my chicken print shirtwaister dress, lime green blazer and a straw sunhat, not to to mention the apricots footless tights. I had a fabulous time, the exhibition is mind blowing and I felt great.
Unusually, I wasn’t the most eccentrically dressed (kudos to the Freda Carlo skirts)

I failed him, there were no treats in my pocket!

Was all set to look half decent for Mr Nick hospital appointment, so trousers instead of denim nice blouse etc and what happens ?
Get to said hospital car park and it pours with rain , stupidly we forgot our umbrellas ..only light weight jackets, he looked ok I was the drowned rat !!!
Next time I’ll be prepared 🤞🤞🤞

Well I did wear my best Jaeger raincoat when I picked the dog up this afternoon, but it was absolutely throwing it down so I doubt anybody noticed. It didn’t leak though, which was a bonus.

I’m off to feed DGS1’s fish, so I’ll be wearing navy trousers, a navy silk shirt, sapphire earrings, ring and my Omega. I’ll finish it off with Pavers gold slip-ons and give my Mulberry bag a look out. I should really wash my car to complete the look, but can’t be bothered.

As long as you don’t wash the car IN the navy silk shirt, sapphire earrings etc. 😂😂

08 / 08: Tuesday. With all the sales at Zara & Mango, and our pending trip to France and Northern Spain, I have encountered some fabulous buys ..

I love trousers and jumpsuits ..

Black shirt, trousers and heels finished with sugar pink jacket atop. Feel like a million dollars and....the lunch was wonderful too. Some I win.......

Am I allowed in? Have been mucking out the cellar and am wearing dust and cobweb smeared dungarees teamed with an old green jumper but have made an effort with my hair and have balanced my tiara on top of it plus a pair of sparkly earrings.Am not saying they’re real diamonds but they could be as DP bought them last Christmas from Primark.
