For me, cargo/hiking style trousers, with multiple pockets.

Not much pattern, lots of black joggers with bright tops, mostly pink and purples.

Many, many pendants and necklaces in purple, blue, silver, green mostly bought in charity shops. DH got me a gorgeous owl brooch in Bakelite for £1 it’s one of my favourites.

Heavy duty winter cardigans (but ideally I would really like a wardrobe full of Jean Muir togs.)

Jeans all year round, and lots of Joules tops. At the moment I am wearing their fleece ones, lovely and warm but my cat loves to knead them! The rest of the year mainly blues and stripes.

I love a frock and have several well quite a few but winter is constant black jeans and jumpers.

Reading this I trotted to my wardrobe and counted ten (yes 10) half zip fleeces in jewel colours 😳 - love wearing them with 👖 and even with capris on cooler spring/summer evenings!

I too have an abundance of boots and coats, Casdon, and didn’t help matters by treating myself to another fluffy number in the Yuma sale…my saving grace is that I regularly clear out and donate to DD or charity shops😇

I dress for comfort, I must admit, and since discovering jeggings my wardrobe revolves around these plus layered tops that reflect the weather.

I like a bit of colour in my tops, but not too bright.

Comfortable pull on trousers in black or navy and colour full jumpers. My favourite jumper is pink and red striped - I love stripes!
Get most of my clothes from Cotton Traders and Sainsburys.
As I have balance problems I live in a pair of black, flat ankle boots. I am determined to get some comfortable flat, leather sandals for the summer.

I never ever wear trousers of any sort, I like skirts and dresses.
I do clear out twice a year, and am quite brutal about it, if I didn’t wear it the previous season, out it goes.

Colour and more colour, I have poppy red hair, dyed, my clothes clash accordingly 😀

I have plenty of coloured denim jeans and mostly Tshirt tops, jumpers too for walking the dog. The Tshirts are thermal so no need for jumpers indoors, just a gilet if I get chilly in the evenings and I’m done.
I’m another one who can’t stand anything up around my neck. So tops are crew neck, no roll necks for me.
Colours for winter are black, navy or deep red.
Bright colours for Summer, mostly cut offs and T shirts and a few dresses.
I can only wear gold against my skin, so no pendants for me, which is a shame, just a gold necklace that MrOops bought me nearly 50th ago that I wear 24/7. And some gold bracelets that I wear when we go out. I have masses of vintage costume jewellery that I can’t wear 🙁
If we went out more often I could wear the various coats, boots and shoes that I have, all too good and nice to get rid of.

I've come to the conclusion that I have always had sensory issues with clothes. I cut labels out, can't wear anything remotely itchy (wool is a no no) or any bows and frills. I also can't wear layers or anything around my neck. I have to wear V neck jumpers.

This is me! My little grandson is the same. I also can't wear socks with slippers or boots. Popsocks are OK with boots. Slippers must be bare feet.

I try to wear more bright colours now, used to be mainly stripes. .

Ubiquitous purply mauve in my case.
I have one black dress, for best, which has a jewelled bodice.
Today pinky fleece over merino sweater. Dark purple cords over leggings because it's freezing

I dress for warmth and try not to frighten the children.

Sara1954 Mon 08-Jan-24 09:35:05

I wear M & S long sleeved thermal tops under everything, they make a big difference, I love them

Kalu Mon 08-Jan-24 09:54:12

I can only wear black with a bright scarf, otherwise, I look drained.
Mainly autum colours in winter, tan/ camel /cream /orange and brown coordinated with cords, wax coated lined jeans, jumpers /flat ankle boots/ scarves/ chunky necklaces and brooches.
In summer, linen and coloured sand shoes. Shorts but only in the garden where no one can see me. 😳

NotSpaghetti Mon 08-Jan-24 09:56:32

Linen mainly - alone in summer and with thermal undershirts (like long sleeve Ts) in winter.

Luckygirl3 Mon 08-Jan-24 10:00:25

Jeggings. Tops with kangaroo pouch to carry stuff around in.

Fashion queen me!

Kalu Mon 08-Jan-24 10:01:08

NanKate, I have a passion for bakelite/resin jewellery.

Jane71 Mon 08-Jan-24 10:13:55

Dressing for comfort seems to be my aim now also, so lots of jeans and leggings, with jumpers, mainly bright colours. Can't stand anything dowdy.

henetha Mon 08-Jan-24 10:23:16

T-shirts in summer, woolly jumpers in winter. Lots of fleecy house trousers. I dress for comfort these days. And still wear jeans often.

Dee1012 Mon 08-Jan-24 13:02:54

Fitflop trainers, shoes and boots. So comfortable and easy to wear.

Tenko Mon 08-Jan-24 13:27:01

I live in jeans and daren’t count how many pairs. Different shades and styles. And Chelsea boots in winter . Birkenstocks in summer , again various colours. Plus stripy jumpers and t shirts and floral midi dresses.

Kim19 Mon 08-Jan-24 14:02:35

I consider my wardrobe a rainbow room. So many colours. I love it. Each day before I rise I decide on the theme colour for the day then its out of bed and all systems go. Don't seem to function well with any other method. Strange but true.

Norah Mon 08-Jan-24 14:31:23

Blues or black for jeans, white tops - mostly all I wear 365 days a year. Layers of warmth underneath in winter. And I love coats.

harrysgran Mon 08-Jan-24 14:49:08

Jeans jeggings bright jumpers and various styles of boots in winter
