Denim and khaki are apparently back in, in a big way. And jumpsuits too. Aren't we all going to look like workmen in overalls?
I had a jumpsuit, 30 years ago, but I don't think I could get it off in time to reach the toilet nowadays!

Yes I’ve already been looking for the colour my youngest gets married this year so started looking for some thing to wear

Unless you have a strong bladder or can "strip like the wind", wear a weepad with your jumpsuit. Also, look at the floor in a public loo before dropping it down on the floor.

Just had a look at the Vogue link and I think the designers have been watching the Sewing Bee transformations. Lots and lots of recycled voile and net curtains. Even a dress that looks like recycled tin cans 😅

Stella14, did you make them yourself? If not, where would you recommend me looking for something similar, they’re really lovely.

Thanks so much to all those who made lovely comments. The sideboards changed because I had a move around of furniture and the fit is better 😀

😃 I was playing spot the difference 😂

The Panetonne colour of the year (2024) is Fuzzy Peach, which is a colour that suits me.

I had my "colours" done many years ago and it's one of mine. Can't say it's one of my favourites although I do agree it suits my red/gold hair colouring. I much preferred the pantone colour of 2018 which is also in my palette and didn't seem to be taken up by clothing manufacturers.

Oh! I do have a cream and blue striped cardigan like the one in the first picture.
It is ancient but I might look as if I'm fashionable 😃

Callistemon21 Mon 29-Jan-24 23:38:57

I've just thrown out all my jeans
And khaki is just not my colour

As for jumpsuits - how easily can you go to the loo?

Went into H&M with my younger daughter yesterday. So much denim, and no other colour apart from black, white, beige and brown. I have just bought a really nice jumpsuit from Turtledove though. Could resist the soft fabric and flattering drape. I always look a bit undone in trousers with tops.

I walked through H and M this afternoon and thought the same as you - there was very little colour. M and S seems to have a lot of green and pink.

I’m pleased that I can be bang on trend without spending any money. Knickers and a leather jacket, thanks Vogue 😂

Thank you @Abuelamia and @joseann - yes, it’s a side zip. This is another one of mine. Totally different. Stretchy fabric that just pulls on. Here I’m wearing it over a blouse. The second one is also a stretchy fabric, worn over a plain black top.

How did you swap your sideboards for the pictures? Everything else is the same, apart from the jumpsuits.

Love these... you look fabulous ( love the hair and glasses too )

😊

Stella, your sideboard changed too! Lovely jumpsuits but I prefer the exotic wood sideboard. It's beautiful

I must be the only one who doesn’t like jumpsuits.

GrannyGravy13 Mon 29-Jan-24 19:14:03

Sorry no picture, but it is on their website.

Have you got a picture?

Joseann Mon 29-Jan-24 18:47:28

The black one gets my vote Stella14.
Yours looks nice for holidays JaxJacky.
OK I take it back, that jumpsuits don't always look like overalls! I'm going to take a look in the shops.

The denim and khaki back in fashion comment was taken from the magazine.

When did denim ever go out of fashion …….i must’ve blinked and missed that!

Jaxjacky Mon 29-Jan-24 13:26:52

I live in jeans, two pairs of denim shorts (amongst others) and a denim jacket which is very faded.
One jumpsuit with the right leg length for my height.

BlueBelle Mon 29-Jan-24 12:51:41

I like jumpsuits and dungarees

Your jumpsuit is lovely Stella14. I think that's because you have avoided the opening down the front which makes them look more like a boiler suit. Does your fasten at the side? Zip?

Serendipity22 Sun 28-Jan-24 21:51:14

I dont follow fashion, my fashion is unique but i do love jumpsuits, must have about 6.

I used to own a pair of jeans about 20 yrs ago but wasn't comfortable in them so got rid and never bought anymore, i just don't think they're chic... 😅
