I can recommend Popsy a small UK firm. Just got my second skirt from them. They do free alterations! I measured an existing skirt snd requested that length.
Can’t return altered items of course but can return purchases to be altered for a cost.
Some lovely bright prints and matching children’s items too.

I struggle to find skirts too but have recently found a decent pull on skirt on Country Collection. They do larger sizes and a choice of lengths.

It's not just skirts. So many dresses are far too long for me and I'm 5ft 4in too - and it costs to have them properly shortened.
