I would definitely say that’s a job for a salon, I go every six weeks and have my eyebrows waxed and tinted and it’s just gone up to £22 but I think it’s worth it…
I never ever did pluck my eyebrows thank goodness and have been going to have them done professionally now for about 12 years, money well spent in my opinion

I get mine done at the salon. A wax and shape costs £9. She also brushes the hairs upwards and trims them, I do that at home too.

I have the same problem. My hairdresser trims my eyebrowsand between visits I manage to trim them myself. It's not easy as my spectacles are in the way. If I remove them I can't see, even with a magnifiing mirror.

Have a professional to trim your eyebrows. My beauty therapist comes to my house every 6 weeks - does a pedicure and eyebrow waxing and tinting - £38 for both but I give her£40 - well worth it

Quite happy with mine as our salon done every six weeks I am putting this on to try and push those bloody bots off 🙄

Like MiniMoon my hairdresser trims mine when she cuts my hair. I don’t usually have to trim them between visits.

I agree getting them done at the salon initially is a good idea to get them into shape. Then trim them at home if you want. If you don't want/can't go to a salon, try -

Use an eyebrow brush (like a mascara brush) to brush eyebrows upwards. Use a small scissors to take the longest ends off. You might have to hold the hairs in place with the brush while you cut (or brush soap on to keep them in place). Brush again. If you're not sure what to cut try drawing in your eye brow shape with a makeup pencil and trim away the excess. If there are curly ones don't pull them out, find where they curl and snip the curly bit off. I do this about every two or three weeks using a huge magnifying glass and my glasses and a bright light so I can see what I am doing. Don't keep doing one eyebrow before starting the other incase you have to stop before you complete them, and end up with two different eyebrows 🙄

My eyebrows disappeared ten years ago. In my younger days I had them kept in order by electrolysis. Now I occasionally have them micro bladed.

Just wondering - having only just seen this post - if anyone uses eyebrow gel to keep their long eyebrow hairs in place?

I'm thinking of trying one but prefer recommendations.

I get mine threaded ...and they trim the stragglers ! ....I go to a lady who has a pip up stall in a local shopping centre ....£8 ....I go every 6 to 8 weeks
