Anyone bought this FatFace coat?

I have this coat and sat next to a lady at a concert in church last week who was wearing the same one. She loved hers. It’s very warm, soft and cosy to wear but is quite heavy. I have been too hot wearing it inside some shops but it’s ideal for our chilly supermarket. It’s not waterproof but I have a raincoat to wear in those circumstances.

It's the thought of Sweaty Betty trying clothes on then they go back on the rail. 😩

I love the teddy coat. I have one and they are so incredibly warm and cosy.

No I haven’t but I order quite a few things on line now and I don’t find it hard to return them but I always check the postage and returns are free.

My question to you would be " have you bought this brand before and do the clothes fit properly " . I only buy particular brands as they suit and fit my figure shape.

I used to like Fatface, but I feel that the quality has deteriorated in recent years, especially compared with other brands in a similar price range and aimed at the same demographic.

I had a similar one and gave it away. Too hot for me and the collar made my neck too warm. Great if you suffer a lot from being cold though I suppose.

I bought pretty much the same coat from FF last year, maybe a slightly darker shade of teal. I can't abide anything too heavy, but this kind of feels substantial and cosy rather than unpleasantly heavy. Wore it for a busy day out in London and it felt very comfortable. It's definitely my non-rainy day coat though. I did go in to my local store and try it on first (they didn't have it in my size - so then ordered online).

I have a similar one from Seasalt and it’s not at all heavy.
However, I would not choose to wear it in the rain- as it isn’t a raincoat!

However, I buy quite a few items from Fatface. If not it's not suitable you can send back, remember you don't have to take to Post office to send back to FF. You just book it in and the post person will pick it up, especially if you give 48 hrs notice.
