Anyone bought this FatFace coat?

Looks okay but what would it be like in the rain? I like Fat Face so probably okay. Best if someone else has tried it on and can give proper advice.

Had a look for you. Seems expensive for what it is. Suspect it will be half that price in December/Jan. It is never that cold until after Xmas.

If I did get it, it wouldn’t be as a raincoat - I have quite a decent waterproof coat. A friend of my daughter’s is going to Birmingham today and says she’ll look for me.

It is expensive - I never usually spend that sort of money on clothes, but it just appealed to me! If I wait and hope it gets reduced, I might not be lucky!6

It does look very bulky, but if it isn't heavy it could be very cosy.. good colour

I like the Apricot coat.
Nearly bought a winter coat yesterday in M&S, until I realised I never wear one!

Ordered the Apricot one - and with a 25% discount! D’s friend said the FatFace one was heavy.

I have had a similar coat for ages, mine is fine.
However, I buy quite a few items from Fatface. If not it's not suitable you can send back, remember you don't have to take to Post office to send back to FF. You just book it in and the post person will pick it up, especially if you give 48 hrs notice.

The FatFace one? It has concealed fastenings.

I have a similar one from Seasalt and it’s not at all heavy.
However, I would not choose to wear it in the rain- as it isn’t a raincoat!

I bought pretty much the same coat from FF last year, maybe a slightly darker shade of teal. I can't abide anything too heavy, but this kind of feels substantial and cosy rather than unpleasantly heavy. Wore it for a busy day out in London and it felt very comfortable. It's definitely my non-rainy day coat though. I did go in to my local store and try it on first (they didn't have it in my size - so then ordered online).

I had a similar one and gave it away. Too hot for me and the collar made my neck too warm. Great if you suffer a lot from being cold though I suppose.

I used to like Fatface, but I feel that the quality has deteriorated in recent years, especially compared with other brands in a similar price range and aimed at the same demographic.
