Oh definitely 62Granny, as apart from all the usual things I need to carry meds, a strong illuminated magnifying glass and the microphone that boosts my hearing aids. I like a cross body bag as it’s easier to manage when walking with a stick, though I sometimes use a backpack type one if I need to include a water bottle.

Yes I do, although not always sometimes just my coat pocket with phone and key. Current favourite light weight bags are Roka but I’ve one or two older good quality ones that come out for smarter occasions. Never really got into the designer bag craze, the cost!

Purse, phone, reading glasses, sunglasses, emergency kit (contains everything!) umbrella ,car key, house keys and assorted rubbish which you have prompted me to clean out!

I like a bag that holds the same as yours, plus at least one book, a toothbrush, pooh bags, string, a knife, carrier bag, some seed bags and a small trowel, secateurs and has a cross body strap.

Years ago a charity shop used to give me unwanted material and I would make it into lined bags (as above) which they then sold lots of. One day I hit on the idea of making them for men ( because my husband carries as much clutter as I do, all in his pockets.). I cut up a damaged mens quality tweed jacket and made a fab (silklined) Manbag. It even had secret pockets. Off to the Charity shop.

Nobody bought it.

After a year or so I took pity on it and brought it home. I sometimes use it myself ( it can take spare pants and socks and a cagoule, enough for an overnight trip) . Very, very occasionally, perhaps for a hospital inpatient day requiring more clutter, DH takes the Manbag and every time, some woman is guaranteed to say "WOW, where did you get that fantastic bag, my husband would love it."

I can tell her, he would not. DH would never dream of taking the Manbag out in public, to the Mens Shed, or walking the dog where men might see him, or it.

Rarely use a handbag, phone & keys in my pocket unless I'm wearing a dress without pockets then a small cross body bag.

Purse, phone, railcard and bus pass, keys in mine as routine in the Summer. I love the Winter when I have enough pockets and so don’t need to bother with a bag.

If out with Gchn then a first aid kit, a plastic carrier and a couple of teaspoons go in as well as 5 dice and a pack of cards. Amazing how many games can be devised using these while waiting for food to arrive in a cafe.

I don’t have anything posh and the one I use mostly is a small saddle type, just big enough for my needs. Designer bags are not my style at all!

Phone in a case which has pockets for my cards, and my keys. As I’ve got older I’ve found that any bag that rests on my shoulder causes my shoulder to ache horribly so this pared down approach is from necessity.

Cross body bag with one of those brightly coloured interchangeable straps. It contains a small amount of £1 pound coins for gym locker and Aldi supermarket trolley when I go there. My wallet with various credit cards, bankers card, gym membership card, library card, NT card, Waitrose, MS Sparks,sometimes I only bring one card for supermarket shopping, I have apps on my phone for some shops so my phone of course. Rennies, TicTacs, door and car keys, some tiny perfume phials, small tube of Clinique moisturiser, lipstick, pen, handkerchief, reading glasses.

Never really liked dressy bags at all.

I do have a few massive bags all the same sort of size which I use a lot - like huge totes or beach bags - some linen, some twisted woven plant matter (maybe jute or hemp?), some linen. I can chuck in everything I might want (and some shopping)!

I've usually got a phone, plaster, tape measure, notepad, pencil, tissues, paracetamol, epipen, maybe a brooch and hairslide, also keys in it. Often a jumper.
I once was asked for an art project what was in my bag.
I had a lot of stuff in it that day!

I use a handbag unless I'm walking the dog (then it's keys in pockets or failing that in my bra!).

Went for many years without one, & when I first started using one I used to leave it behind all the time - massive panics, But now I've trained myself to be "with bag" I wouldn't go back.

My favourite bag is a small leather cross body bag I bought in Rome. It’s just big enough for my iPhone, wallet, keys and tissues.

Every day bag is nothing fancy, from Amazon they are flowery waterproof materiel with a colourful strap,under £20. My Friend recently, very kindly gave me a Radley bag with big orange flowers on for birthday , which I use it If am going somewhere nice.😄

Yes , now I’m retired I have a cross body bag with phone , purse , keys , glasses and a small bag with lip balm , mini hand lotion and lipstick . When dog walking I have a cross body bag with poo bags , treats , ball and anti bacteria gel .

My bag has to be a reasonable size with lots of pockets.
Large purse, small change purse.
Sun glasses, Gaviscon tablets, Panadol,
tissues, wet wipes, tooth picks.
Tape measure, shoe horn.
Folding shopping bag
Occasionally a rubber bottle stopper in case we eat out and don’t finish a bottle of wine, very random I know but it is in there.
Small repair kit from hotel with needle , thread and a button.
Small hair brush , lipstick and tiny mirror.
I don’t travel light.

PS house keys of course.

I have one bag I use all the time, exceptions are weddings and funerals.

This is because I know I would lose stuff. I know people who are always swapping bags and leaving stuff behind- using just the one bag until it falls apart reduces this risk.

In my bag I have two pairs of glasses, my coin purse and my card wallet, my comb, some tissues and my phone, a bit of lip balm, a diary and a pen.

For every day use currently I'm using a small navy blue leather cross body bag. It contains an RFID card wallet which protects my cards from being cloned, hand sanitizer, pen, phone, tissues, keys and a timetable.
For days out, where I might carry a bottle of water etc., I have a large-ish
light weight cross body bag.
I like handbags and have several for different occasions.

It made me wonder why they need one😄 my parents were both tailors and never went anywhere without one, but other than that??

Good point there about leaving stuff behind.I have about 20 bags and this sometimes happens.Damn! I say in Sainsbury when the Nectar card isn’t there.Gathered all the bags over the years and they seem to go on forever.Love having the choice of style and colour.
Routinely I have, car keys, door keys, tissues, small hairbrush and a few hair bobbles to keep my hair pulled back, lipstick of the day, small notepad and pen, phone and antiseptic wipes.
Plus, mints, small amount of cash, cards and shop loyalty cards.

I can't imagine where I would even put 20 bags! I think I have about four... maybe three as I sent one to a charity shop recently.

You can buy an inner bag that has everything you use in it and that transfers into the bag you want to use, but I am not sure how it works if they are different shapes/ sizes.
A few things people have mentioned that I have forgotten I have in my bag:
Reading glasses😎 small hairbrush, sweetener, as I only like a certain brand.
