What to do with very fine silver hair

My hair is as above. It looks good (shine and colour) when just washed. Clean pink scalp showing through even looks good and natural, in a way complementing the silver. Short of washing it every day, how to keep it looking good? It's also prone to wayward frizzing, which I think too-frequent washing would exacerbate by drying the natural oil out. Any advice I find online is really just trying to sell products, and any product at all weighs down and deadens my hair instantly.

I can’t really see what advice you need jenner. It sounds as if you are happy with your hair? Mine is much like yours, but it’s dry, so I don’t wash it every day, more like 3 times a fortnight. All I can add is to have it trimmed regularly into a style that suits your face and that you’re able to manage at home.

Thanks for replying. My point was that my hair looks good ONLY when just washed. After a day it becomes wayward and frizzy. But because it is very dry I can't wash it often.

Any way, some good news is that I've discovered coconut oil works well to tame the frizz. I followed a thread on Mumsnet that recommended coconut oil for frizz. The thread was unusually positive about a product, so I tried it. Like the Mumsnetters, I'm very happy with the result. I just take a tiny amount (about the tip of a teaspoon), rub between my hands until it's soft, then pat gently on the frizz. (Coconut oil is solid in the jar, though I believe it can be bought in liquid form.)
