Because shapes keep on changing, and if you stick with the same old, same old you look dated. I like to try new shapes out, and see what they look like - some work, and some don’t.

Good styling is never out of date. 🤷‍♀️

Good styling evolves though - or we would still be in long dresses and men would be in doublet and hose. The shape of a pair of even straight leg trousers is not the same as it was in 1965, 75 or 85 now.

I like wide leg trousers, have been wearing them for a while now but Barrel leg jeans are not me. Think I have about 5 styles of Jeans /Trousers depends on what I'm doing, what I wear.

I don't like Cropped Trousers, they just look like you have grown to tall can't see the point of them. Just as well we are not all the same.

Who remembers "Loons"? Wide flares hardly coving your Hip bones, great days 😂

I remember loons Visgirl, I had a pair that were maroon down to the knee, and dusky pink below the knee. I was 15, and thought I looked cool.

I loved loons - and the way they were two-tone at the knee.

Wide trousers and high heels make you look taller as long as the trousers cover most of the shoes.
This was fashionable in the early 70 ,s so ots just come round again .
I like wearing them when I,m going somewhere that I,m not sure of the dress code so instead of a full length dress the trousers amd a fitted top do the job perfectly .
I do like fashion ,I rarely have anything older than 3 or 4 years old in my wardrobe.
My daughters friends ask her when my next clearout will be ,the clothes go to them amd my neices

I prefer straight or slim legged jeans and trousers. I do have wide legged linen ones for summer as they are cooler but I get my heels caught in them.
