Facial epilators

Electrolysis. a bit painful, but only have 10 or 15 minute sessions. Without regular electrolysis over the last 40 years I would have a beard to rival DH, as it is I have a smooth face with a few hairs removed every six weeks.

I can remember seeing bearded ladies when I was a child, I am so profoundly grateful that electrolysis has saved me from that.

I use Nair facial hair removing cream. Available on Amazon. Really cheap & works extremely well. I've been using it around year now & it's so easy! Just start with leaving it on for 3 minutes then washing it off. Don't let it go on your lips. Moisturise after & you're done.

Having tried just about every way to remove facial hair I've settled on waxing. I go to a beautician once a month and use waxing strips in between. It keeps the fuzz at bay for three months.

I use an epilator from boots, it cost about £20 and is rechargeable. Does the job, quick and easy. All epilators can do this job. Never need to pluck again.

Dermaplaning is excactly the same as using a razor, as far as facial hair is concerned, the difference is razor will not exfoliate the skin, so if it’s just peach fuzz and face hair that’s the issue, save money and buy a decent disposable razor. Lots of women do this and it does not make you have a beard, it can not change anything below the skin, is purely cosmetic.

Yes you are probably right about the blade thing.
I have noticed my blades are serrated though. Rather than using a shaving motion, I slide the whole blade sideways & downwards.
Also they reckon men don’t wrinkle as much around the mid face due to exfoliation of the skin cells. Whether it’s true, or not, not too sure.
Also woman usually do the whole face, even forehead 😳 when derma blading.

I use a Braun rechargeable facial epilator a bit sore til you get used to it but great after that.

Me too. Lots of sneezing when I do my top lip, but I have got used to it now. If I don’t do it every week I get a little beard and moustache with sideburns.

If it’s peach fuzz that wants removing, surely using tweezers will take a long time!

Try tweezers. They are brilliant. I have just started electrolysis a few weeks ago. But I'm definitely going for laser for my upper lip. Beautician wants to use electrolysis on my upper lip but I'm not happy about that. 😕

I dermaplane it's so easy and effective, I smooth facial oil on my face then gently use the dermaplane at an angle, it gets rid of all the peach fuzz, the hair doesn't come back thicker, I use mine every 2 to 3 weeks, it removes the dark hair too.

Best thing I’d suggest is derma planing.
Tkmaxx sell these blades in packs of six & are very safe to use.
What you need to do is clean your face, then apply an oil. I use grape oil. Gently slide the blade in a sideways angle, wipe the blade on a clean tissue.
The hairs don’t grow in darker or thicker. I promise.
I do mine once a month.

My husband use to comment was I growing my tash for Movember as it would shine in the sun.
He’s never said anything for ages, & doesn’t know I do this.
I do get an odd thick hair but just pluck those out (they aren’t the same thing as peach fuzz), tends to be us blondes & redheads that suffer from peach fuzz.

I bought one of these from eBay. Despite the low price, this is brilliant! It comes with a charging cable.

My face is thd only place my hair grows these days snd I have tried everything over thd years. Ended up using scissors but I took a chance snd bought a small white one in Asda. It’s their own make snd costs £8. It doesn’t hurt and works really well and I wouldn’t be without it.
