I’m back again same question. So I’ve been wearing a hat during the heat we had, I’ve bought clarifying shampoo and yet another one to tone down brassiness but here I am with yellow streaks to my silver/ grey hair and I hate it.
Do others have this or am I one of very few? I really don’t want to involve hairdressers and bleach/dye as I know I would regret it.
Help! How come I see lots of ladies with silver hair that looks fab with no yellow streaks?
Apologies for going on about this but it’s really bothering me.

tanith, Head and Shoulders dandruff shampoo can sometimes strip shade from hair. I used it when I was trying to eventually wash out a coloured shampoo. Cheap enough for you to give it a try. Good luck x

I think thats whats caused mine too Mazgg. I certainly won't be bleaching it I did enough of that in my younger years. I actually can't remember the last time I went to a hairdressers. I might try just trying to put the purple toner on the worst bits see how that looks.

My silver/white hair has a yellow tinge at the front due to the sun.

You could get a hairdresser to bleach out the yellow streak or do it yourself.
The yellow colour must be coming from somewhere, so look at what’s causing it?
