Has anyone else's Username disappeared from the top of their Post box? I'm sure it was there yesterday...

It's still shown at the beginning of any posts I make though. Very odd! confused

I suppose we could all change our names to different shades of grey? I'll be a paler shade of grey to match my self effacing persona!

Right, we've heard back from our technical people now. Looks like it's just a change in format that had to be implemented - doesn't affect your posting or the visibility of your posts or profiles. In short - it won't actually affect anything, except that one little box you see when you write your post.

Whose forum is it anyway the dear GN'ers or the tech people. Nothing gets up my nose more than being told that something 'had to be implemented' without a proper explanation. It's for others convenience not ours folks.

It is a bit galling, I agree. As I said on the 'Grey' thread, it's quite disconcerting to see the box next to 'Username' empty!
