Would a Chromebook be a good replacement for a laptop?

From what I've heard, (and I'm no expert), they sound good. If I were you I would go to a store and make a comparison. Ask an expert.

Does anyone use a Chromebook? We need to replace our laptop and one of these looks a good alternative but not sure about the google docs bit instead of Word. (Not too many documents/typing to do). Apparently they can be a pain to print from but maybe you could email the doc to another pic.
