I bought a very simple mobile phone yesterday for the bedroom, on the advice of the fire officer, seemed sensible. We have another which sits in the car, used only occasionally, and I had forgotten how to top it up. The young man in the shop did this for me, copied all the info on to the new sim card (no idea what that is!), did the same for me for the new one, which will sit in the bedroom, and like the one in the car, only used for emergencies. We do mainly e-mails and land-line calls. The young man was brilliant, well I think so, however, when it came to folding up the instructions for the new phone (which I had asked him to look at with me), he had no idea how to do that, left that to clever old me.
