Moving an app on my IPad

Press and hold the app till it wobbles then move it with your finger. Switch off the wobbles by pressing the indent switch at the bottom of the iPad.

I have downloaded a TV app so that I can watch a channel 5 series. The app appears on the second main screen ( the one I get when I swipe my main introductory screen to the left). I want to move it onto the main screen and into the folder with my other telly apps. I know I need to get the app to wobble about and then drag it over to the main screen and pop it in the appropriate place but I can't remember how to do this. HELP.x

As you will guess I am not very technically minded but if I am shown how to do something I am quite good at following instructions.
