Moving an app on my IPad

I have downloaded a TV app so that I can watch a channel 5 series. The app appears on the second main screen ( the one I get when I swipe my main introductory screen to the left). I want to move it onto the main screen and into the folder with my other telly apps. I know I need to get the app to wobble about and then drag it over to the main screen and pop it in the appropriate place but I can't remember how to do this. HELP.x

As you will guess I am not very technically minded but if I am shown how to do something I am quite good at following instructions.
