Best to keep them in tip top condition, a wipe over with Mumble & Snodgrass Universal solution, and a dusting of powdered sulphide of antimacassar seems to work best, imo, but if others have found a better method I'd be glad to hear it.

I tried to just cover the basics and put too much technical info in, after all, it's essential not to overwhelm new users.
