Hotmail emails not working

Lindiana the keyboard’s language settings are independent of the tablet’s, so it is probably still trying to type in French.

You need to go into the settings menu, then find the input layout options, it’s usually under Language & input’ or ‘select keyboard layout’.

If you search on YouTube for Samsung Galaxy Bluetooth Keyboard Layout you should find some step by step instructions.

My son bought me a Samsung Galaxy tablet and a wireless keyboard as I touch type - but the tablet came from France. I have been able to get it to work in English but it won't sync with the keyboard & when I use the keys they come up with incorrect letters & symbols. Any ideas? It's very frustrating & I'm not using it much as a result.

I have same problem . I have an I phone and an iPad and I’m not getting emails from hotmail on my phone. I can’t find the sync intruction

I don’t have a Samsung ‘phone but I do use hotmail on multiple devices. It sounds like your ‘phone and tablet are out of synch. Does your ‘phone have an option to synch accounts? It’s usually under Settings > Mail > Synch email or similar.

Delete the mail app and re add it, using your credentials? That way you're not tapping into a pop up. It might be that the server has dropped the connection - it happens to me with another provider sometimes.
