I’ve just come across this information this week. O2 and Virginmedia have recently merged. Anyone who is a customer of both can have their mobile data allowance doubled at no extra charge and their Virgin broadband speed “supercharged” to the next level up. It’s called Volt. I activated it on my O2 app or it can be done over the phone.
My mobile data allowance was 12GB on my current tariff and it increased to 25GB once the Volt benefits were activated. I’m just waiting confirmation now of my supercharged Virgin broadband.
I was happy to receive the data double up as I’d been away for 3 nights with no WiFi and had used up a fair bit of my monthly allowance.
