Alexa - what do you use yours for?

I asked her what time my local Waitrose closed earlier this afternoon.

I forgot - the grandchildren ask it to fart. This isn't compulsory!

Never had one can I carry on living without one ?

Timers, shopping lists, recipes, reminders, photo albums, lots of music choices.

My GD asks ours random questions and always gets answers.

I don’t (use it).

Am I missing out? Probably.

I do 'The Question of the Day' grandmadinosaur. It's free although I'm always being asked to do Jeopardy or the Song Quiz which I just say no to

I am partially sighted so I use it as a timer and a daily alarm clock.

The weather, the news and free music. I have three, and I couldn't live without them.

Ask it random information
The weather forecast etc.

A couple of them are Alexa Shows so we have rolling pictures on display.

Same for us. We also use it for “ of the day “ when gs comes ie joke of the day,dinosaur of the day etc. Facts from Santa etc at Christmas time.

I wasn’t aware of quizzes Grandmabatty I’ll have to check that one out.
