Going to St Brides on Wed. DD2, her OH and GD coming down from Cheshire to join me for half-term week This will be my 3rd visit there. One of my favourite UK sites .Hope the weather is good .Being right on the coast it can be a bit wild.if its fine hope to walk along the cliff top-maybe a trip to Skomer a daily swim in the indoor pool.
Anyone else know this area?

I've been to Wales many times but never to St Brides area, I have a sister near Tenby and know that area fairly well , the whole of West Wales is stunning.. lucky you.. enjoy.

We had some good holidays in Littlehaven when our children were at school. DH's boss had a cottage there and we were allowed to use it for the spring and autumn half-terms. We got to know the locals and had a lot of fun even though it nearly always rained.

Hi Maniac It certainly is a beautiful area and the view from the cliff top walks are breathtaking. My MIL comes from St Ishmaels (near Milford Haven) there is a secluded beach Lindsway which is reached by steps down the cliffs also Monkhaven near St Ishmaels not much of a beach but a lovely walk through a wooded valley to reach it.

As merlotgran mentions Littlehaven which is lovely there is Broadhaven famous for it's Lion rock and Druidstone also Newgale. Solva and St Davids I could go on. Lucky you. The clarity of light is wonderfull at this time of year I believe the area was a favourite of artist David Sutherland (hope I've got that right).

Have a wonderful time

We have been there every year (sometimes twice a year) since the children were little; and always go to the St David's festival every year. St David's is a sweet little city; and the beaches around are lovely. I have wonderful memories of walking the coast path all day, returning to hired cottage for hot bath, then going to wonderful concerts in the evening. And all our children did their exam revision lying on Pembs beaches, as we were alway there in the May half-term.
