Lovely photos, Celeb. I did the elephant ride in Phuket - not an experience I want to repeat!
I am facing a second Christmas when I will be quite close to my daughter and her children, but unable to see them, so I know what you are suffering.

You and your DH look so happy in the photos, celebgran! Glad it was a lovely holiday, and I hope you soon have news about your DGD.

great nan we did not do elephant ride did that in Thailand, never again, just there were Elephants and camels being used for transport everywhere x

Lovely photo's celebgran. We've just come back from nearly three months in India. Second time this year, but our daughter and family moved there eighteen months ago on an ex-pat assignment so the experience is a bit different. They have another eighteen months to go so hope to be able to afford one more trip next year. Ended this trip with a stay in Goa again but it's hard leaving them each time but back for Christmas so not so bad.
What an awful shame about your daughter and your little granddaughter. x

thanks nano 8 we have another little grand daughter never seen, so thats is even sadder, but hey ho life goes on and we will never forget them, just hope and pray one day our daughter sees sense and realises how she has hurt us so.
