I have now received confirmation after eventually getting the visa sorted.
If you took a direct return flight from Singapore how long did it take for you to recover from the 14hr flight?

My friend told me the Australian visa now requires you to upload your passport photo ( apparently it never used to). You will need a visa for both countries. Go onto the Foreign Office website, loads of information on there.

I went to Australia in March for a couple of weeks. I applied for a free e visa online through the High commission in London. All very quick and free.
