Strictly Speaking

I voted for Jason, but am secretly pleased that Harry won, if only to stop my hubby going off on a rant, because he`s been predicting Harry as the winner from day one. If he hadn`t won, life around here wouldn`t have been worth living for a couple of days! I think that they all danced really well, but for some reason I`ve never been able to take to Chelsee, although I think that Pasha is LOVELY!

I had to watch it later in the evening but didn't let anyone tell me the result. It was, I think, predictable, but no less spectacular for that. Chelsee did herself proud and she has grown on me though the Salford accent still grates! Jason's just a bit too cringingly 'humble' though I suppose it could be genuine....

Strangely I didn't think it was predictable Annobel unless you meant that the correct three reached the final. I felt that all three were brilliant but feel that the 1-2-3 was correct. An amazing series. How is it that it seems to be better every year?

The best programme on TV for a long while,I had bet with DH Harry would win but was secretly routing for Chelsee,but not to be she still seems to be unsure of how good she is on the dance floor for some reason.

Thought the ballroom looked sparkling after the chaos of our party. Someone did a remarkable clean-up job!! Very happy with the outcome! Now isn't there a 4th member of McFLY? Which reality show is left for him??

Come to think of it, isn`t this Harry`s second triumph on Strictly? Didn`t he win the Strictly Christmas Special about 2 years ago?

So so good have just watched it all again on Sky + so good... Oh how can it be at least another 9 months until it starts again....

really enjoyed Jessie J as well -the Doting Grandma has a fantasy about being Jessie J....
and I won many bonus points by saying how Jessie and The DotGran are very similar in appearance... ( and I was not making it up either but saying the truth)

I`ve been surprised not to see any remarks about the Christmas Day special. I had the winner down to between Charlie Brooks and Simon Webbe, hubby was adamant that Charlie would win, so he was very pleased with the result. I see that Anton got lumbered with the dead leg again!

Just revived this thread as I've got Strictly on. Not really watched it before, but I'm really enjoying it.

I watched it too, thought it was great. It seems strange that every year the celebrity dancers seem to get better.

Jerry Hall makes me laugh. I can't see her improving, but I hope she stays longer.

I love it. Darcy Bussell is improving as a judge. I didn't like her to start with.

I agree, and Lisa Riley is an inspiration to us rather well covered girls!!

What's happened to Craig? He is finding something positive to say about just about every couple. Has he had a personality transplant, or a good talking to? Isn't Colin Salmon seriously fanciable? .

Colin Salmon is rather lovely, although far too tall for Kristina, I felt he was at a disadvantage.

They lost their tallest female dancer when Camilla left. Shame!

Colin Salmon is really easy on the eye and I think he is rather elegant too.
Lisa Riley is brilliant and Denise Van Houton is doing well I think
I do find Darcy Bussell a bit annoying. but I am enjoying the show. I have just watched it with GD1 .
