Martin Clunes - Heavy Horsepower

I only managed to watch half of it but recorded the rest. What a lovely programme - I have very much enjoyed his programmes about dogs as well. I agree with Tegan - he certainly is turning into another national treasure and seems a really interesting and calm, kind personality. Fascinating.

I remember watching Martin Clunes on a programme about horse whispering for people with mental health problems. He admitted to suffering himself and was moved to tears. He seems a lovely gentle chap.

When ex dh and I used to live in Windsor Castle we had the pleasure and priviledge of getting to know a drum horse in training!

As this programme started and reference was made to horses pulling dray carts, ploughing etc, I remarked to Mr P that it would be good if they included drum horses, and lo and behold they did!

Channel 3. Itv 1 NfkDumpling it was a real treat.

Absolutely lovely programme. My grandchildren adore horses and spend almost all of their time outside school at the stables. They have been riding from 6 months old. If do wish I could ride .

It's wonderful isn't it? Lucky man being able to have such beautiful creatures just for the fun of it
