Hygiene on Masterchef

Good gracious! I will not be able to invite u to my place for a meal! Basic hygiene etc is fine but I think some of you would be horrified by my slap dash approach!
I have not poisoned anyone yet!

What is wrong with dipping your piece of bread into the same bowl of cheese goo that someone else has or flash frying a cube of meat in the same pot of hot oil ? It's on the end of a dipping fork! I used to love fondues!

You need to try eating form a communal bowl like many cultures do, then you might worry! All those hands scooping up food from a central tray...

My daughter has just given me a fridge magnet which reads "Many people have eaten a meal in this house and gone on to lead long and happy lives" She may be trying to tell me something!

I liked all the competitors - even JSP - for her honesty and sense of fun.

I think Ade Edmonson has done a really good job of re-inventing his TV profile. DH thinks his jokes are childish and unfunny but I've been living with that sort of humour for forty-five years so I'm used to it!!

I like JSP but I think she had a brief to fulfill for the sake of the ratings. I didn't feel her stroppiness and stuborn attitude was genuine this time but just a big act.

I taught year 8s who could have done a better job of presenting her final dishes.

The fact that we never see a contestant washing his/her hands doesn't meant that they don't. These programmes are necessarily subject to a great deal of editing.
