I've seen Tamzin Outhwaite named as the replacement lots of times.

Shame about her real life husband - seems like he's not as nice as he looks.

Tamsin Outhwaite is definitely the replacement. I`m still missing Brian and Jack.

We kept watching thinking we'd miss Brian but Nicholas Lindhurst is growing on us. He has a really sinister look sometimes too.

I liked it as well. Very nicely done, she's a good actress and I hope who takes her place gets some decent dialogue and a plot to get her teeth into. Then it will be OK. Who will take her place? I don't get the Radio Times.

I enjoyed last night's episode, but I can't abide Denis Waterman's terrible acting. Every time I hear the signature tune, I'm reminded of the sketches about him in Little Britain.....'wrote the theme toon, sang the theme toon.'

I quite enjoyed it. There was little else to watch in my opinion.

Other than that I enjoyed the episode - both the serial killer story and the 'in-house' stuff

I was very irritated last night by the unnecessary and inappropriate background music.-even in the sessions in the interview room.!!

I haven't watched it yet, but am sad she has gone ,was it with the Frenchman who was in it before,? I'm not sure it's going to have the same appeal with a brand new cast, sometimes these series should just be allowed to die in conjunction with the departure of th originals. I'll give it a go though.

Giving up on watching a series because one or another actor has left the cast seems illogical to me... I thought the ending with Sandra not looking back was quite moving... and I was glad the writers didn't essay some dramatic tragedic finish.

Nice to see Sandra getting some at last... (!)

Pining for Bolam or Armstrong is pointless - they have gone on to do other things, that's all.

I enjoyed the storyline but thought Amanda Redman's character would have had a more 'dramatic' leaving.

This weeks episode was good with a terrific story line. I believe that Amanda has had some 'work' done on her face, well she looks different. Will see how the new team jell and then decide on future watching.

I quite enjoyed the storyline but was sorry to see her go without 'a bit of a do'. I like the new characters, it beefs it up a bit but would like to see how they get all the information that they spout.

I thought 'the leaving' was a bit if a damp squib last night - mind you I did go to sleep for 20 minutes in the middle - or maybe that proves my point.

Amanda Redman has very obviously had a face lift since the last series. Storylines are poor but we still watch.

I really liked her character - don't think I'll ever watch with the same interest again.
