What a travesty to cover that lovely old rocking chair in bright pink paint! I wouldn't let that lot through my front door, as they seemed to have little sense of the age and history of those cottages. I half expected one of them to paint some oak beams.
It's such an interesting series, though. Can't wait for tonight's programme.
What’s a household item that reminds you of your grandma’s house?

. Apart from The Bridge there's nothing else that I'm enjoying so much, expecially as I'm having a declutter/sort out and my daughter has just had her house extended and is almost ready to 'dress' it. I had decided that, since retiring I was going to let my house fall apart around me and spend any spare cash on holidays, but have realised just how important it is to be in a nice environment. Even a grey one
. Y'know what sets this programme apart from 'Changing Rooms' is the music; it just sets the tone for the whole programme.
. The two finalists on Wednesday have to decorate almost a whole house [need to find excuses to not go out]. What is making my desire to redecorate my house even worse is that I was googling a bit last night and found a picture of a cottage that I was, to all intents and purposes going to live in with my, then boyfriend who still lives there but has got a very young wife [who just happens to be a designer] and a young family. It totally freaked me out and I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. I'll try to do a link but it probably won't work.
Actually I think the cat is the best bit!
. Yes; the yellow fireplace was a mistake but the rest of the room was lovely. I reckon Jordan is going to win. I couldn't see anything wrong woth his radiator cover yesterday; not sure why the judges disliked it. I've been soo loving this programme!!
