I'd have liked a more satisfactory ending too, merlot.

DH said 'Oh well, it's left the way open for the next series', but we'll have lost the immediacy of this episode and will have to have a lengthy recap to remind us what happened... hmm

I thought this was going to be cracking final episode to the series but there were more bodies than Midsomer Murders and now Morse is banged up because he's the only unbent copper on the force.

Where's Lewis when you need him?
