I wonder if the quad bike accident he had a few years ago might have had something to do with it? He nearly died then - so maybe brain haemmorhage? Too young whateversad

So sad. sad Happy memories of watching the Young Ones with our teenage children - especially the University Challenge episode.

Such very sad news. My DSs absolutely loved the Young Ones and could recite every episode word for word. RIP Rik Mayall you gave so much fun to so many.
