So what happened there? Did Rob nobble the timer before he went upstairs? Did Ursula sabotage the Toad in the Hole? Is Henry of to Doothebys Hall?

I too thought it strange that Pat didn't a least call in to see Helen to check she was ok on her own. Perhaps Helen used being at home alone as a chance to ring Kirsty?

Surely someone (David?) will make a comment to Pat about Helen not being at the Bull for the mothers day meal with Rob, Ursula and Henry.

It's a great story line but isn't it out of character for Pat not to have phoned or driven up to see Helen.

I thought it was the Victorian's that put women into mental asylums if there husband thought they were too difficult and suffering from women's problems. I really think the script writers need to get a grip on the story.Did Pat not wonder why she didn't see Helen on Mother's Day?

I do hope Linda Snell puts on Christmas Carol, then Henwee can be Tiny Tim!

Henwee is a very odd little boy. How many five year olds would want to go out on Mother's Day without their mother? Ursula and Rob might be feeding him some nasty tales but you don't break the bonds that easily.

I am getting a tad confused here as last night Rob seemed a little pathetic could even say he was being bullied by Cursula. Am at a loss to know what will happen next , surely there has to a catastrophic end to all this with Helen poisoning both Rob and Cursula and fleeing into the night with Henry as fast as her fat ankles will take her that is.

Jess should be relieved that she and her baby had a lucky escape, maybe they should bring her back into the story.

Henry will probably get packed off to that school that Ruarigh (?) Aldridge goes to. How can they afford the fees? Do we think Bruce and Miles are also controlling psychopaths? Or just Rob and Ursula? Will we ever hear from them?

Shula knows what a nasty piece of work Rob is from the hunting incident. Time she, Dr Locke, Kirsty and/or Tom stepped in or Helen will end up in a nice secure mental health facility!

Shysal, you won't be alone in having direct experience of the Rob Titchener approach to family life. It's a harrowing story line but so well developed.

Slightly off piste, but apparently about £60k has been donated to the "Helen Tichtchener Rescue Fund" on the JustGiving website, with the money going to Refuge, a charity that helps women in abusive relationships.

Do you think this is going to come to an end this week?
Pat never liked Rob in the begining and now she is fawning over him.

I have just been screaming at the omnibus edition all morning.
I went onto Facebook and a friend has just posted the same.

I do not want to just hear "comfy" anything. This situation happens in real life. Not all families are perfect and reasonable.

I listened to Saturday Live this morning and they had David Troughton as a guest. I never knew that he's the son of Patrick Troughton a former Dr Who or that his real life son William plays Tom, his Tony Archer character's son.
