The original one is full, having reached 1,000 posts shock, so I thought we could start again!

Surely Kirsty won't give up?

Nelliemoser Mon 08-Feb-16 00:13:26

LullyDully I think Rob is just a classic portrayal of a nasty controlling male. Of which there are a lot known to domestic abuse workers.
They operate over all sections of society.

I do think Helen has been silly to leave her mobile lying about so often.

Daddima. It seems likely Rob raped Helen on the night they got "carried" away. She was heard showing surprise. He stopped her using protection, she was sobbing the next morning and later on someone commented on the bruising on Helen's wrists.

phoenix Mon 08-Feb-16 07:45:14

Now he's blocked Kirsty on Helen's phone!

AyjayF Mon 08-Feb-16 09:00:56

Let's hope the hospital latch on to what's happening.

J52 Mon 08-Feb-16 09:14:13

I found yesterday's episode very harrowing. Rob's voice! I do hope Kirsty mentions the phone call to Pat.

How will he explain that Helen is not in hospital, if he is found out?

I wonder if it will be Tom and Kirsty who rescue Helen and it brings them together again?

I can't work out whether Helen is in hospital or not. I'll have to listen again at 2pm today.

merlotgran Mon 08-Feb-16 10:41:48

I thought Helen was at home and that Rob was letting Kirsty assume she was in hospital but now I'm not so sure hmm

Elrel Mon 08-Feb-16 12:32:26

I thought she was in hospital, I'll listen again.

chloe1984 Mon 08-Feb-16 12:52:11

Rob is starting to get seriously sinister , what is Pat going to say when she is unable to speak to her daughter on the phone? Heaven only knows how Rob will be when 'his son' is born. Think this is starting to take over my life grin

Elrel Mon 08-Feb-16 14:09:28

Rob mentioned her drip.

J52 Mon 08-Feb-16 14:13:36

Ah yes, she's in hospital. I can hardly listen to the repeat!

Luckylegs9 Wed 10-Feb-16 06:47:10

I find I now switch off when Rob comes on, he is spoiling the programme for me and will I be glad when he is bumped off. To think there are men out there like that!

merlotgran Wed 10-Feb-16 09:45:49

There is supposed to be psychiatric support for Helen now (unless I misunderstood what Rob was getting at)

Surely they'll pick up on something?

Will the Bridge farm lot take any notice when Henry come out with, 'Wob says Mummy's a norty mummy for keeping secwets fwom him and I must tell him evewy time Mummy talks to people?'

Elrel Wed 10-Feb-16 22:21:35

Nasty but well written the way Rob is coming between Helen and Henry. Is he trying to drive her to a serious mental collapse so he can take charge of her finances etc.?I can't really see why Rob is keen to be sole effective parent unless he's playing a very long game to be a significant and wealthy Ambridge landowner by inheriting when Peggy, Tony, and Pat have all popped off.
Last week I thought things would come to a head this week but now I doubt it. He's really scaring Helen over 'our baby's life' and physically isolating her from everyone. Where's Dr Richard Lock when we need him?!

Nelliemoser Wed 10-Feb-16 23:04:44

Dr Richard Locke got a mention tonight and there was a clue given a while ago that he knew nasty Rob.

merlotgran Wed 10-Feb-16 23:10:54

We didn't hear a reply from Shula when Bert suggested Rob was a caring husband.

We're being teased.

merlotgran Wed 10-Feb-16 23:13:52

I think they need to step it up a bit. I'm bored with all the, 'You must take it easy, darling'

I know Helen is flaky but there are limits to our patience.

AyjayF Thu 11-Feb-16 07:44:37

Surely Pat would pop round during the day to see how Helen is? Shes just come out if hospital so that would be normal wouldn't it?

Hunt Thu 11-Feb-16 09:33:24

I think the writers are in danger of boring us all to death with the Rob and Helen saga. If they are not careful it will all go off the boil. It's a bit like missing the setting point when making jam!

Maranta Thu 11-Feb-16 09:52:51

They bored me to death ages ago! Now I get updated by reading this thread. ?? to the lot of them.

merlotgran Thu 11-Feb-16 23:20:23

At the end of tonight's episode the announcer said that tomorrow Henry increases his vocabulary.

I'm so excited grin

Wob's a wanker?

shysal Fri 12-Feb-16 16:20:55

merlot grin!

mrshat Fri 12-Feb-16 17:09:12

merlot Love it!! grin

AyjayF Fri 12-Feb-16 19:39:52

Wouldn't have thought it could get any worse for Helen but it just did!

phoenix Fri 12-Feb-16 23:00:06

It's getting nasty, sinister and more than a bit unbelievable, as in surely Pat would have gone to see Helen?
