The original one is full, having reached 1,000 posts shock, so I thought we could start again!

What's happened? Ill miss the omnibus as I'm at archery!

merlotgran Fri 12-Feb-16 23:27:33

Pat will surely have her nose put out of joint when Ursula turns up.

She should come on here for a bit of 'spurned grandmother' advice.

Nanabelle Fri 12-Feb-16 23:27:33

Gale, can you get the Listen Again I Player Radio ap? I use it a lot to listen to programmes I have missed. Otherwise it's Monday lunchtime for you!

Nanabelle Fri 12-Feb-16 23:27:58

Galen, I have set my TV box to series record the omnibus. Perhaps that would be an option for you.

I hate to think what will happen when Henry hasn't learned what "obedient" means.

J52 Sat 13-Feb-16 09:48:53

Rob seems to be annoying Tom and Helen has kept his visit from Rob, so maybe he'll be her saviour?

I expect a dramatic ending to the scenario, possibly just before or at the birth!

I though Rob was cagey about his parents, keeping them at arms length. He didn't like it, a few months back when his mum popped by.

How about this...... Mother in law slaps Henry for not being 'obedient', Helen is shocked beyond words, whisks Henry off to Kirsty's and spills the beans?

Alea Sat 13-Feb-16 10:33:16

Good one! Hope the scriptwriters are paying attention. I too find it odd that in a small community it is apparently possible to keep Helen 'incommunicado' or that when she did pop to Bridge Farm neither Tony nor Pat was around. Surely Jill should have been round bearing baked goods??

AyjayF Sat 13-Feb-16 13:50:53

Ursula will clearly hate Henry as he is not her 'real' grandson. Wonder if she'll be as manipulative as Rob though + win people over. We need the Doctor Locke teaser to come up again. " Haven't we met before Rob?"

phoenix Sat 13-Feb-16 17:39:48

Even though I have been a listener for many years, I really feel that this particular storyline needs to be moved forward.

Pat not having been round to see Helen is very unrealistic.

Nelliemoser Sat 13-Feb-16 23:41:00

The BBC I player radio has all the Archers repeats and they come online almost as soon as the episode finishes.
You can then download to your computer or tablet very easily.

I will be very disappointed if Granny Wars doesn't rear its head.

WE know what it would be like in real life.

merlotgran Mon 15-Feb-16 21:31:58

So, Ursula's really nice.......Or is she?? hmm

HannahLoisLuke Tue 16-Feb-16 09:07:32

Ursula. Friend or foe?

chloe1984 Tue 16-Feb-16 09:21:55

I think the whole Titchener family are completely flawed but am admiring Tom's tenacity he and Kirsty will rescue Helen .....eventually.

Nelliemoser Tue 16-Feb-16 12:32:54

Ursula is interesting. She did seem to be making some rather disparaging remarks about Rob "being always right." I think she might be OK.

merlotgran Tue 16-Feb-16 14:03:49

I hope she makes him squirm but I'm scratching my head as to why he wanted her there in the first place. Certainly to keep an eye on Helen but risky hmm

AyjayF Tue 16-Feb-16 14:24:00

Ursula wasn't particularly nice on her last visit. Not sure she is to be trusted.

LullyDully Tue 16-Feb-16 14:26:43

This story line is beginning to remind me of David Copperfield, especially now the mother has turned up, likeMrs Merdstone did.
So Henry must be off to a horrible boarding school full of bullies like Steerforth. Poor boy.

LullyDully Tue 16-Feb-16 14:27:42

Pat was always so strong, what's happened to her.

LullyDully Tue 16-Feb-16 14:28:00

?

katie1 Tue 16-Feb-16 15:40:31

I wonder if Ursula's husband was controlling like Rob is? So, perhaps she has been brainwashed into accepting that behaviour??
