Daytime TV - what is missing for you?

Totally agree with Ana, we only have 1 TV, in the sitting room, and apart from Christmas we don't go in there until about 7.30pm.

However Radio 4 is on all day!

I put Escape to the Country on if I fancy an afternoon snooze, it's perfect!

Doctors. Father Brown. Air Crash Investigation.

By and large, there's nothing on.

Except for Daily Politics.

Still mourning the demise of Working Lunch.

There may be some CBeebies tomorrow as DGC is coming and is not very well.

We often watch the BBC 1 news at 1P/M then Doctors. At the moment Father Brown, though tend to record that and watch in the evening when there's nothing on. Sometimes The Chase at 5 on ITV
Recently there has been on BBC 1 The Dr Blake Mysteries which was excellent, honestly it's not all rubbish. I don't feel guilty, I have worked all my life I am now retired, and deserve some time to please myself.

Like Ana I do not watch daytime telly unless you count Cbeeies with DGS. (Years ago I was off work for nearly a week and found myself getting stuck into it. Knew then it was time to get back to work!)

DH likes 'Escape to the Country' but we are always astonished at what the budget is for quite ordinary seeming people!
We like looking out for places we know (but couldn't afford to live!).

We refuse to watch daytime TV we feel is is the slippery slope to old age. No TV until 8 pm every day anything else before then if we really want to see it is recorded and slotted into the 2 hour window we set aside for TV.

BBC Breakfast Occasionally Matthew Wright 9.15 Channel 5 if I'm still in. I will watch 4 In a Bed, only if it's a new series at 5pm and yes I'd describe that as a guilty pleasure. Nothing in the middle of the day.

BBC4 is on from 7pm till 4am, I'd prefer it to start earlier eBen if it finished earlier too.

I don't watch tv at all during the day, and I can't think of anything they could put on that would tempt me to do so!

We watch the lunchtime news and that's about it until Pointless.

I sometimes watch Escape to the Country if I'm ironing or messing about in the kitchen. It's my guilty pleasure.

I watch BBC Breakfast then nothing until Pointless, simply because the choice is so limited. If I do watch TV during the day it is only to catch up. I am glad that we are no longer tied to watching what is on when it is on.
