Loved this programme. Such lovely people, so hardworking and obviously care
so well for their animals. Would love to see more programmes like this.

Yes, really interesting and shows life as it is, I like the mix of different types of farming and the difference in areas, from Islands, Highlands, as you would expect wonderful views of Scotland included as well.

I've only just started watching, it's great! Brilliant idea for a programme.

I'm in Scotland and have been watching this delightful but hard life programme . I've always hankered after the country life !

Lovely programme. The highs and lows of these farmers is riveting! That poor calf that died, and even sadder was the bull who became lame!

I've been watching it. It is on in England. Last night saw Christmas on the farms. It was sad to lose a calf on Christmas Day, but it happens. My DH comes from farming stock.

Good point Tizliz - we're in France so I'm not sure if it's just for Scotland.

I have been watching this. The sheep sale one farmer went to is in the village where we work. Can you see this in England or just Scotland?

Is anyone watching this series, on BBC2?
We've watched every programme up to now - 12 episodes, on every weekday evening. Episode 6 tonight at 7pm.
We find it fascinating, and I'm in awe of most of them leading such physically tough lives. And it's 24/7.
