I get annoyed that they can have a child actor - who is actually good playing George yet Rooaaaaaarrrry is mute and Henry is played by a robot.

According to my half Irish grandson the correct pronunciation of Ruairi is....Rory.

It annoys me that George's accent is much posher than the rest of the family. They tried a few days ago with him saying 'ennit' which sounded really odd!

I does help me remember that justice is not about fairness but about the law - which can seem very unfair at times, e.g., Rob getting custody of Henry.

So Kaz is still alive next Friday - thank you for that Nellie. I can see 'Helen' still being confused but feeling she must fight for other women in her position. Her background with the organincs, etc., means she probably has a sense of fighting for what she believes in.

I think it is difficult to tell some of the younger character apart but regional accents are softening and even disappearing - and we are getting older .

Elrel your description of three farm-raised young people hits the nail on the head imo. I find it difficult to believe some of the behaviour at the moment - this is Ambridge not the East End. One of the great things they got right is past was Nigel's behaviour; it was appropriately inappropriate . John's death in the tractor accident is far to much a part of their culture for them to treat expensive tractors like toys. Not good SWs although they probably didn't have a hand in the story-line.

I sometimes miss an episode of the Archers..... but I wouldn't miss gransnet and the Archers' Addicts for anything!

I find myself hanging on to Brian's every word these days. He's the only character worth listening to.

Oh dear, has Mr Keri killed Kaz? I do hope not. A mostly good episode with subtle interaction between Jenny and Brian.
Pip now seems to be a character from some completely different and inferior show. Does anyone IRL actually use the term 'friend with benefits' in a serious context??!

I liked Jennifer's gentle dig too Iam. That's when you realise it pays to have listen since the beginning (although I was only one at the time )

At last I am reading it right again. Thank heavens. I think it's the affairs I have difficulty in believing. I need to remember the characters may be attracted to people I wouldn't be.

merlot, I don't think even Sean O'Connor would have Kaz kill her baby. If he does, I may be forced to join those who say they are about to flounce and never listen again.
Kaz has been painted as a sympathetic character. She has also been assessed and found to be safe and stable enough to be allowed to live in the mother and baby unit, despite her history of self harm. I maybe in my Pollyanna mode here but my feeling is that this trauma upon trauma may be a catalyst for Helen to begin to realise her experiences have been similar to those of Kaz. Kaz told Helen that Blake would never let her daughters go now he'd got hold of them. Will this lead to Helen making comparisons .with her own situation.
But yes, a shocking end to what had been a very enjoyable episode. I loved Brian's comments about his dreadful children and Jen's summary of Madam Butterfly, followed by Brian's slightly embarrassed Humph

And now we have Caz's suicide/attempted suicide to contend with or has she killed her baby?
