I have just seen that Martin Hughes-Games' services have been dispensed with on Springwatch. He grew on me over the years and I must say I was surprised to see him announce he was no longer wanted.

The BBC seem to get rid of people I like and keep the ones I dislike. hmm

They really do love messing around with programmes that the viewers are quite happy with.
