I watched a really funny programme called Motherland a week or so ago. I thought it might be a series, but I can't find any references to it any where. Anyone got a clue?

It was a pilot in the new season of sit coms they were trying out - I loved it a very satirical play on modern mothering.

I liked it too. I think there's scope for a series..hope so. I think it's available on Catchup still.

Thanks all, that's saved me searching for episode 2. I did enjoy it. It was edgy and witty and gave an insight into the pressures of being a young mum nowadays. I liked the bit where the gran refused to babysit. Not sure who I felt sorry for having been a young mum and now a nan.
