It isn't something I usually comment on but

Leslie Joseph is 71 in two weeks time!!!!!!!

Charleygirl Sun 13-Nov-16 16:34:55

At this rate all of his voting fans will be GNs. I could not stand him as an MP but he is much more endearing now and a hard worker. I do like to see Yvette's face each week, it is a picture.

Wobblybits Sun 13-Nov-16 16:29:18

We both voted for him

Charleygirl Sun 13-Nov-16 16:26:25

gillybob I voted once for him and I discovered a friend of mine voted x2 so he is doing very well from our votes. We make up for Craig's awful scores.

gillybob Sun 13-Nov-16 16:10:09

I love watching Ed Balls and I think he genuinely seems to be having the best fun unlike some of the others who are more bleedin'' concerned about looking amazing . My DGC are staying with me for a while and they voted for Ed three times last night !

Ana Sun 13-Nov-16 15:13:17

He does seem to get all the naff set-ups, doesn't he? I was thinking the same last night.

Teetime Sun 13-Nov-16 15:10:21

I still think the whole thing is unfairly set up. The producers would never have given one of the attractive celebs the music and dances that Ed has drawn their agents wouldnt allow it. I bet their contracts are very specific.

Charleygirl Sun 13-Nov-16 14:52:05

I am surprised that Ore does not have a bigger fan base, considering he works for the BBC. I thought that his colleagues at the very least would vote for him now that Naga is out. Not every dance suits him- I do like to see him do a jive or Charlston. He is another who never danced before.

I still think that Danny Mac may win.

Ana Sun 13-Nov-16 14:47:01

Louise is a fantastic dancer but I can't warm to her, somehow.

Jalima Sun 13-Nov-16 14:46:49

I have warmed to Daisy - I didn't know who she was or what she did, but she is a fashion model - and I am so pleased to see a fashion model with nicely rounded curves - not plump at all but not like someone half-starved.

Jalima Sun 13-Nov-16 14:44:44

I do like Ore and thank goodness he didn't cry this week

However, perhaps he has reached the limit whereas Louise just gets better all the time.

Anya Sun 13-Nov-16 14:41:14

I'm thinking Daisy too, and possibly Ore.

I don't think Daisy or Ore have a big fan-base, unlike the two Olympians, and others.

Charleygirl Sun 13-Nov-16 14:30:03

I agree Wobbly I think that he deserves to go to Blackpool. He is not a natural dancer but he has certainly tried very hard.

I think that Greg and Daisy may be in the dance off this week. Daisy does not appear to be very popular. I still do not know what she does professionally. I like Greg and he also as a non dancer, has tried hard. I would like to see him also go to Blackpool. I voted for Ed for the sheer entertainment value.

Jane10 Sun 13-Nov-16 14:09:00

If it was purely a dance contest I wouldn't be watching it and I suspect that the BBC is well aware that the days of 'Come Dancing' type straight dance competitions are over.

Anniebach Sun 13-Nov-16 14:03:55

I hope Ed gets to Blackpool, he has improved each week,

whitewave Sun 13-Nov-16 13:41:30

He is soooo funny and entertaining. We look forward to watching him every week and Strictly will be less fun without him.

Wobblybits Sun 13-Nov-16 13:26:55

If this was purely a dance contest, the judges would be 100% responsible, but it is an entertainment show, and for me Ed deserves to reach Blackpool, he is not only entertaining, he is putting his heart and soul into it and is by far the most improved.

Jane10 Sun 13-Nov-16 12:49:30

Chris Hollins certainly wasn't the best dancer the year he won. Ed could do it because people just plain like him!

chelseababy Sun 13-Nov-16 12:42:14

Pity you can't vote for who you want to leave rather than to stay. Maybe Ed would go then though I admit he has been entertaining.

Ana Sun 13-Nov-16 12:25:34

No, he won't win, his time on the show is limited but he's certainly been entertaining!

petra Sun 13-Nov-16 12:23:16

I think that the awful Balls will win. What a travesty.

POGS Sat 12-Nov-16 21:51:36

I thought Oti and Danny performed a brilliant Tango, it was so quick you had to really concentrate on his footwork.

They are all so good this year, even if it is nothing more than for the fun factor and trying so hard. I wouldn't want to be a judge having to eliminate any one of them.

suzied Sat 12-Nov-16 21:29:28

Thank goodness for Strictly to lighten the mood. What's the betting Ed and Katya will be in Blackpool? Gangnam Style -laugh out loud hilarious

Badenkate Tue 08-Nov-16 11:43:00

I enjoy the Saturday show but don't want to watch it on Sunday so I always find out who won on a 'spoiler' thread. I never tell anyone though - except DH. And why he wants to know I've no idea since he rarely watches it anyway!

chelseababy Tue 08-Nov-16 06:37:54

Rubylady if you want to know the result Google strictly spoiler after 10:30 on the Saturday - there is a facebook and Twitter feed (?). It spoils the show if you know but that's your choice and I agree about the awful "suspense". If I'm going to miss the Sunday show I sometimes look. I preferred it when they had the results show on Saturday night.

rubylady Tue 08-Nov-16 04:13:37

Good, I'll check online then, it'll save me watching all the terrible suspense stuff, pointless.

I've read today that Bruce is in a bad way still after his surgery last year. His body isn't working the same, poor chap. Such a shame when he's had the career he's had. My childhood was all the better for him being around. smile
