The Christmas M&S Advert

I watched it this evening and wasn't impressed Venus . I judge it on the
"tingle-o-meter" and whilst the John Lewis scored very high (my DGC love it ) the M & S ad didn't even get a tiny little shudder.

prefer the Aldi one with Kevin the carrot,its much mnore christmassy and the grandaughters love it

I guess I'm a sucker for animals. Some of the proceeds go to the Wild Life Trust.

(Whoops, sorry, that is the John Lewis ad, isn't it????)

Well, they did hve some very nice reindeers in the M&S ad! And kids.

M&S is my favourite. Kevin the carrot is slightly annoying and JL whilst cute and funny doesn't have the aaahh factor.

I love the M&S one!! It gave me a tingle because she told him not to forget Australia and our Australians have a dog who demolishes shoes
Although Father Christmas did look a bit like Jeremy Corbyn and I can imagine JC saying 'yah boo to Christmas, the only JC that matters is me!'.

Kevin the carrot is cute but doesn't scan properly and I think the spoof JL one is funnier.
Sorry, I can't seem to do a link but it is the Obama, Clinton and Trump one (which isn't a bit funny really )

I love the M & s one. John Lewis ,whilst nice , just didn't hit the spot this year. Kevin the carrot is ok but I think my favourite might be the spoof John Lewis one with the snow globe .

Yes Venus I liked it too, better than the JL ad.

Haven't seen Kevin the carrot yet.....no Sam the sprout then?

Just watched m&s advert and did not like it all. The reindeer were good but that was all I liked. I like john lewis both real one and the spoof one and the wee carrot advert. Just as well we all have different tastes

I've just watched the Aldi one with the carrot and I didn't find the carrot that endearing. I'd have thought that the reindeer would eat the carrot anyway!!!!

As I've said on another thread, I'm not keen on the M&S advert.

I like the Aldi one, but am puzzled as to why the table is laden with cooked turkey and all the trimmings while Kevin the Carrot is still wooshing round to find his place on Santa's plate by the hearth...

I must be a very simple soul and easily pleased. I like them all
Including Not on the High Street.

Kevin obviously escaped 'the chop' Yes, who was going to eat all that food late at night? Quite liked the ad though it was a bit dark ( eaten at the end I should imagine by Rudolph.)
I liked all the ads, but think on balance ( even more Christmassy) the M&S one wins this year.

Didn't like the MS one at all

Made me cringe!!!?
