So sad to hear her death has just been announced.

It is sad. She was only 69 and had been in TA for about 40 years. I shall miss her as she played a nice character. She apparently said that she would be happy for someone else to take her part and didn't want her character written out.

From what I have read she was very philosophical about her impending demise and spent a lot of time being jolly - good for her! smile

She had such a distinctive voice, she will be hard to 'replace'. It's hard to imagine the Archers without her.
