Happy and Glorious

I loved it too,especially the bit about the Waitrose shoppers.He always seems to hit the nail on the head.Not that I have anything against Waitrose shoppers. I go there myself sometimes.

We watched, and quite honestly thought it was a little too much Michael McIntyre, could have done with a variety break like his last show. He is indeed a very clever comedian, and in my opinion does not need the occasion 'f' word, but that is just me. Laughed a lot.

It was a recording of his stand up tour performance so very different from his variety shows.
Sarah Millicans tour recording was on last week and although she's funny I did find her unnecessarily rude at times. Makes me feel about 100 writing that though!
Its hard to be a comedian -either something's funny or its just not. Michael M hits my funny bone every time.

We have seen him live and he was really really funny.

I was given Sarah Millican's dvd a few years ago because I loved her on TV but I found the swearing really over the top. I don't think I'm a prude either but if something is funny it doesn't need lots of f words.

H and I saw this live at the O2 and watched again last night. We did enjoy it last night but didn't laugh as much as watching him live. All to do with atmospher I guess.

I was very depressed after my DH died and a little while later someone gave me a Michael McIntyre DVD - I laughed for the first time in weeks. I agree he manages to be funny without constant use of swear words. I always think his style is a lot like Victoria Wood, (another comedian who didn't have to rely on swearing), take an everyday situation and make it funny.
