We get it here on a Dutch channel, I thought one of his daughters was killed in a car crash when he was driving.
In a previous series he was having meetings with his X to try and get access to the other Girl.
I like it, but wish someone would smile at least once, I have Welsh friends and they are happy people.

You saw the vision of the two little girls at the end of the series? Those were his daughters who were killed just before the start of series 1

We've watched all 3 series too, where is all that bleak landscape, they travel back and fore along those empty country roads. There are lots of looks into the distance but also lots of bleak looks at each other.
We too loved the series particularly how it all came together in the end.

Fully agree with you BBbevan.
I have been lucky enough to see all 3 series. I'm not in Wales but picked it up on the BBC Wales/iPlayer probably at the time you were watching it.

We have it weeks before you here in Wales. So it is finished for us now. There was a previous series that explains all.
Absolutely love the series and the wonderful photography.

We have watched the first two episodes of the new series. Doesn't get any better , does it? They are all such tortured souls, but, I want to know what's happening. We didn't see how it all started, so presume that 'something' has happened in the life of DS Matthias to warrant all the long, silent looks into the distance of that grim landscape.
