I can still remember sitting in the kitchen watching the last episode in the dark, because the S.O. tends to talk when the TV's on and I just had to watch it in silence!

Yes I just googled bleak house DVD and there it is!

Yes; it is the BBC one and is on dvd. Gillian Anderson is in it, isn't she.

Sorry, not BBC, the channel is Drama. It's brilliant, fantastic characters I'm hooked. Must see if there's a DVD as we should have taped it but didn't.

If it is that one, I was glued to the screen as I didn't know the story at all. I've got the dvd somewhere; I must rewatch it.

Is this the series they did a few years ago? I remember it coming out in half hour chunks but I'd wanted to see at least an hour at a time.

This is superb, the plot, the wonderful Dickens characters, - it is beautifully filmed and the cast is spot on. Charles Dance is in it, plus other excellent actors though I don't know all their names.
Best thing on TV for ages, really enjoying it.
