I caught most of this last night and couldn't for the life of me figure out who the quiet silver haired bloke was. Gave up and looked it up when it went off and it was Pete Beale from dim and distant Eastenders. It was obvious once I knew but I guess I was looking for someone better known. Anyway I agree about Stephanie she would certainly grate on holiday but the others just seemed to Gel. I can't help myself but I keep looking at celebrities and how they've aged, I find it fascinating as I should be a wrinkly old crone by now with all the sunbathing etc and I'm not at all. I have surprisingly youthful looking skin especially my neck.

I commit one of the seven deadly sins when watching this programme.... Envy! I want to go there and do all of those things and see those places.

Never ever forget the editing of these reality shows can change perceptions of people. I have done one and it is totally in the hands of the editors - they can make a saint look like a sinner and vice versa. You will find the production team will suggest comments, actions and behaviour. I am loving this one as we visited Udaipur last year and one of our hosts was briefly in the clip where they had tea with the Maharana (many local expats were rounded up for it)

Husband and I are thoroughly enjoying this, especially as we are just starting our planning for a trip to India next year.
We had a 'rough idea' of were we wanted to go, this has just added more destinations to our list!!!!

I'm really enjoying this series much better than the last and I like all those involved even Stephanie who is juts being what she is - an actress! I always enjoyed her performances -- very good in Tenko but we haven't seen her on TV for a while - perhaps that's her problem. Lovely insights into India though.

I like Selina Scott, she has always been a rather reserved person. A nice group of people, not too keen on Stephanie but some celebs in semi retirement still cling to the past.

Seacliff... Not a typo but for one I don't know her real name or how to spell it is more the truth and two she looks more like a gargoyle and it's how I remember who she is. Lol

I watched one episode and was very impressed with Stanley Johnson whacking the cricket ball with such flair. It makes me chuckle that he does the pinkie-in-the-air thing when he drinks tea! I didn't know people still do that grin

Lol nanabilly, at Miriam Gargoyles, not sure if it was a typo but quite appropriate

I'm finding Stephanie a little annoying too! I thought I would on day one when they were in the taxi from the airport and she said "it's a little grubby!"
I'm liking bob champion and sid too , he seems a gentle man and he's mentioned his wife a few times too ,I like that he is openly missing her.
I think selina may grate on my nerves eventually because she seems to think she above the others. Time will tell on that one.
A much better series than last year's so far as Miriam gargoyles is not present , she was gross.
Burping and farting all day long and grumpy too

I am enjoying this series, they all seem to get on together and except for Stephanie who seems very self-centred really nice people.
We took a busload of playgroup children to see The Krankies many, many years ago and were quite shocked at how blue the show was. We had a few questions from parents over the following days.

I find Stephanie annoying. She's always drawing attention to herself. Selina Scott is lovely, very elegant.

She's a real character isn't she .I'm sure she's a real bundle of fun to be around.I particularly like Sid too ,seems a lovely genuine man

I've been watching this off and on. Tonights was good, I especially find Jeanette Krankie hilarious. She's 70 and game for anything, and pretty fit too. She had me laughing out loud at tims.
